Welcome. My name is Lorraine M. Cafasso, author of the series, And Then the End Shall Come. Book One, The Call was well received. I was being nagged by readers to complete Book Two, The Quest. I am happy to announce Book Two is now available, and both books are also available on Kindle. I’m so happy to have you as a visitor to my blog. This project is very special to me, and I hope to share some of that excitement with you here.
I’ll be using this blog to interact with readers about my series, And Then the End Shall Come, expanding on some of the topics in it. This is a great place for you to get to know me, and I’m looking forward to getting to know you also, and answering any questions you have for me about the series. I am currently working on the third book, name to be determined.
I’ll be returning here frequently with new posts and responses to feedback from you. Until next time.
Lorraine Cafasso joined us last Sunday to tell about her new fiction series titled “And Then the End Shall Come.” It’s an exciting read that closely resembles real-world experiences of missionaries working in the jungles of Paraguay.
I had a book signing at Barnes And Noble in Rogers Arkansas on July 16. They put my table right at the front door. Everyone passed me coming in. Not only did I sell several books, but alsoI gave away approximately twenty-five brochures with the prologue of the book in it, and ordering information on the back page. They let Mike Blow the Shofar (The Ram’s Horn that is pictured on the Front of my book) every half hour. After the sounding of the horn the store made an announcement about my book and that I was having a book signing at the front of the store. I was very well received by both the store and their customers. The store even invited me to come back for a second book signing in the future. My next book signing in Arkansas will be in Fayetteville on August 27 from 1 PM to 3 PM. This book signing will be very exciting. It will involve 11 New Authors from the area who will be signing their books.

November 16 I had another book signing at Barnes & Noble in Claremore, Oklahoma at Rogers State University. I had it on a Wednesday instead of Saturday because it was Teacher’s Appreciation Day and they expected more traffic. That didn’t appear to be the case, but I sold some books and met an old friend. Next book signing will be back in Oklahoma City after the first of the year.
the sun, the sand, the breeze and the waves. no wonder hemingway's book were a success. make room ernest, your bell may have tolled, but now they are listening to my shofar.
Check out my book signing at Barnes and Noble in Oklahoma City on September 24 from 11 AM to 2 PM. I will be signing my first book “The Call” in the series “And Then The End Shall Come.” If you want a personally signed book, contact me and I will mail it to you.
New author book signing at Fayetteville, Arkansas on August 27, 2016. Ten new authors were invited by Barnes and Noble in Fayetteville to take part in a book signing of their new books. Lorraine was one of the 10.
I had a wonderful afternoon, met some great people, made same good contacts, and sold some books. Most of the people were from the Fayetteville area and had a following who showed up plus friends and family. I knew no one, but benefited from the overflow. Much thanks to Barnes & Noble and Rachel McAdams who organized the event. Next month on September 24th I have another book signing at the Barnes and Noble in Oklahoma City, at Quail Springs, 13800 North Memorial from from 2:00 to 3:00. If anyone is in the area, come by and visit. Book one is selling well and book two is continuing to grow on my laptop.
Mike and I are at an Independent Assemblies Convention in Norman, Oklahoma on July 18th and 19th. Approximately three hundred people attended. Again several books were sold and over fifty brochures given away. Some people came back the next morning to buy the book, having read the brochure the night before. I am very encouraged by the meetings and book signing. I feel like God has given me the idea for this book and it’s sequels. My job is to continue writing and do what I can to get these books out into the marketplace. They are an encouragement to Christians and a good read to others, with plenty of prayers and scripture to plant seed in their lives.
Tomorrow, July 16, I will be doing a book signing at the Barnes & Noble Store in Rogers, Arkansas from 12 – 4. We will be selling and signing books and “Blowing the Shofar” that was on the cover of my book, “The Call”.
On July 20, 21 and 22, I will have a table set out at the Independent Assembly Conference in Norman, Oklahoma.
I ask everyone’s prayers that both these events are well attended. Be looking for future picture from these events.
