Lorraine and her husband Mike started out as high school
sweethearts. They have now been married forty-eight years. They have two children and two grandchildren who help keep life exciting.
Lorraine was raised in New Jersey and relocated with her family to Claremore, Oklahoma in 1977. At that time she hoped there was a God, but had no faith to support that belief. That hope was turned into a firm belief in 1981. She subsequently developed a burning desire to share God’s Word with those around her. Unfortunately, she had very little knowledge of the Bible. This prompted her to attend Rhema Bible Training Center where she received a two year degree, graduating in 1984. She served in her local church in a number of positions and was eventually ordained into the ministry.
Lorraine has a heart for missions and has been on several
mission trips over the years, including trips to the Philippines and Ivory Coast. She visited Paraguay at the end of April, 2016. There she got to experience what she had only imagined and meet the people who already lived in her heart.
She recently had the opportunity to visit Paraguay a second
time for two weeks in October of 2017. During this time she had many opportunities to visit several rural, indigenous tribes,
bringing food, clothing, and the Gospel to hungry people. Many
lives were changed, including hers.
Lorraine is also a registered nurse. She has incorporated her nurse’s training and experience, plus her love of gardening, cooking, and needlework into the tapestry of her books. The Call is the first book of the series, And Then the End Shall Come. The
Quest is the second book which is currently for sale.
Lorraine is now working on her third book of the series.
